That’s right, you! Stop doing and just sit. Get yourself a cup of tea, get cozy, and relax. Breathe. Now, answer honestly: Do you have it set up that in order to receive the goodies in life, you have to work hard?
The Universe understands that you have created a situation in which you are indispensable (or want to believe that you are) and that you are in danger of over-working yourself to the point of physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual exhaustion. This message arrives at your busy doorstep to say, essentially, “Chill!” Close the door, turn off the phone, disappear, be unavailable.
It is essential that you do something to put yourself in an attitude of receptivity so that the Universe can refill your rapidly emptying stores of energy. Doing nothing is an excellent start. The next step could be doing idle things like listening to music, meditating, writing in your journal or doing your nails. If you do not create the space for the Universe to support you, you will soon be running on empty, which will shortly be followed by complete engine failure.
If you’ve developed this way of living for fear that nobody knows or cares about you, this message is a reminder that in order to receive the love that is here for you, you have to be willing to let it in, and you have to be the first to love you.
